who hasn't been for white water rafting? if you havent, make it a goal to. coz its darn awesome!!
last saturday, a few of us expedition rangers had an awesome time crashing through the currents at slim river. we actually invited a lot of ppl, but little did we know, they were ffk kings. xD
anyways, at around 11 or 12, we started off in the river. oh yes, we had briefing. over left means all the people from the right go to the left side of the raft and vice versa.
okay, in my raft : alvina, elijah, eric, janice, jon and me. (plus two guides)
all in total 8 ppl. we set off on our journey. as we sailed through the rocky river, we suddenly dropped or hit a rock on the left side (where me eric and alvina were sitting). after that sudden plunge, me and alvina simultaneously were thrown back into the water. ironicly, we three (me her and eric) were talking bout how much we wanted to just jump into the cool river. well. me and alvina got our wishes. (: sadly, eric didnt.. hahahaha
we were kinda swept away by the currents until we reached a spot where we could get back onto the raft. then alvina and eric were talking. suddenly, alvina turned behind and saw that eric wasnt in the raft. eric got his wish too. heh.
the highlight of this trip however was the grade three drop. the short plunge was awesome-er than most of the roller coasters in malaysia. xD water splashing into your face while your heart jumps outta your body.hahhaha.
all in all, i'd say this was the most interesting and exciting activity i've ever experienced. (:
